Meet My New Little Friend!

This is Kibbie! My roommates and I are fostering her until she finds a new home. She is the sweetest little thing you'll ever meet and loves attention. It feels so good to help out the community and do something to benefit a helpless animal. Do your part in the community! A Flannel Affair

Southern Nights

Last night was so beautiful here in SC, a bit chilly that I needed some sort of sweater but warm enough to get away with something light. This little cardigan was perfect kept me cozy the whole night. I paired it with this black tube top and maroon colored jeans. To polish it off I added my favorite necklace. I wore my black steve madden boots with this outfit (which I need to get rid of soon, they're so beat up!) Any suggestions for black comfy boots?

I am totally 100% in love with everything about Jessica Alba's style. It has such an effortless but put together look to it. This one is particularly easy to re-create. I really like how she mixed plaid and leopard together. I never would've thought to do that but after seeing it, I really do love it! I cant wait to create my own version of this outfit with the clothes from my closet. I'll be sure to post when I do :) Happy Friday! 

Sperry cold

Today was freezing! I opted for my warm flannel and fur vest. I love this vest because it has the perfect amount of fur for a laid back day. The fur on this vets is only on the front and the back has a sweater material. I paired it with jeans for extra warmth. I polished off the outfit with my favorite basic jewelry. These pieces are usually my go to jewelry items because they are so simple yet add that little extra something every outfit needs. I had to do a ton of walking today so Sperry's seemed like the way to go for the added support and comfort that my feet need. Stay warm!

Lucky Brand Crossbody 

Fur! My gosh I love anything fur (faux of course). I love how you can dress it up or dress it down, plus it keeps you soo warm. I also really love long sleeve peplums for the winter. I find they are so flattering for my figure. This lucky brand cross body bag is my favorite. I use this bag all the time. Its so roomy and even fits my laptop. I love it because it looks so casual and has ton of compartments for small items. (None of these pictures are my own)

My most used perfumes

Here is a small collection of the perfumes I always wind up re- buying. I am obsessed with perfume and body mist and take pride in smelling extra fancy every day.  I always find myself remembering people who smell good. Strange but true. I want to be one of those people for any others that remember that too. From left to right they are Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue, Chanel Mademoiselle, VS Tease, and VS Sun Kissed. Today was a beautiful day for these jeans. They are a bit thin so they don't keep me too warm. I love all the zippers on them and on the jacket. Zippers can really add dimension and totally change a piece. I have to say this tank top is a gift from above. I am totally in love. It so flattering and the material is amazing. You can bet your sweet buns ill be ordering this in every color. Nothing helps me get thru a Monday like a good outfit.

Such a gorgeous day today in SC to run around and get some errands done. I barely needed my jacket so I opted for the vest today. These vests are so amazing I wish I could get it in every color! Also, this shirt is amazing its so soft and has the cutest bow detail in the back that can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Enjoy this beautiful sunday. Back to the grind tomorrow!

Hustle and Bustle

Its been a hectic few days! From canceled flights to moving into my new apartment I haven't had the chance to post anything especially cause I didn't have any internet until a few minutes ago. Sucha bummer. I was hustling all around the city to get my flight and finally landed 8 hours later. Here was my outfit today (before all the rain came that is)! Fureezing

Happy tuesday! Today is one of the coldest days ever! 2 degrees is not something this girl cannot handle. I'm always cold as it is and now this! It also caused me to change my flights that I had booked for this morning. Sucha bummer. Today I am wearing my hooded fur vest paired with a comfy flannel, jeans, and boots. All essentials for keeping warm on this record chilling cold.

Sunday Bumday

Today was a typical lazy sunday for me. I hung out at my parents house watched football and Revenge. Revenge this season has been totally shocking for me. I mean DANIEL?!?! Anyways, for a lazy Sunday at home I decided comfort was key. Im completly in love with hooded flannels. Im not sure why but I think the hood adds a whole new twist on the basic flannel. And I love it! You all will learn to see how I also love fluffy things. This scarf is exactly what I mean. Its so soft and goes with everything. Also makes my more boy-ish looking outfits instantly girly and glam. A must!

Snowy Weather

Today I was at my parents house where it was snowing like crazy! Today was the perfect day to wear my new sweater. Seriously this thing is heaven sent. It is so soft and the hood makes it even more cozy. The sweater is from Suite201 (left photo from suite201 instragram) . A boutique near my parents town. I would spend my entire pay check at this store if I could. They post all their clothes on instagram so definitely check them out @suite201 everyday for new arrivals.
