Looks I Love: Destroyed Denim

First off I want to apologize for being M.I.A, I've been going through a lot these past couple weeks. However, I am glad to be back :) . This post will feature the looks I've been drooling over. Destroyed denim. I am in love with it. Destroyed denim always gives a slight beachy surfer girl kinda vibe for me which i love! I actually just ordered my first pair of jeans that are like this from hollister ( so 5th grade i know but they were cheap and super cute) If you are interested to see how I style them please let me know below are just some examples of ripped denim that looks super cute for winter and spring :) happy wednesday!

Clean Eating

With the weather warming up a bit down south I'm motivated more than ever to eat more healthy meals everyday. I also have a lot more time to plan my meals. This is one of my favorite meals. Its low in calories but high in protein, great for after the gym! Apples with peanut butter and an overt easy egg with sprinkle cheese and tons of spinach on a 100 calorie deli flat with salt and pepper to add extra flavor. Whats your favorite healthy meal?

Spring Preview

I have been anticipating spring so much lately! Not only does it mean closer to the end of this semester but I can finally wear flip flops! Gosh I miss those. Here are some of my favorite spring looks. As you can tell I love denim for the spring!

Trend I love: Tortoise

I absolutely love the tortoise trend! Its gorgeous and is so easy to match with. I like that it has some black in it cause I tend to be picking about wearing black and brown sometimes. Here are some of my favorite tortoise pieces. Do you have any favorite prints?

Meet My New Little Friend!

This is Kibbie! My roommates and I are fostering her until she finds a new home. She is the sweetest little thing you'll ever meet and loves attention. It feels so good to help out the community and do something to benefit a helpless animal. Do your part in the community! Even if it's not something like this you could always donate money or supplies to an organization. Everything counts :) 

A Flannel Affair

I dont think there will ever be a day I don't want to wear flannel. I love experimenting with dressing it up and down. They're so comfy and just the cutest! Today to run errands I kept it very casual. These leggings are the best too! So warm and cozy I love them.

Southern Nights

Last night was so beautiful here in SC, a bit chilly that I needed some sort of sweater but warm enough to get away with something light. This little cardigan was perfect kept me cozy the whole night. I paired it with this black tube top and maroon colored jeans. To polish it off I added my favorite necklace. I wore my black steve madden boots with this outfit (which I need to get rid of soon, they're so beat up!) Any suggestions for black comfy boots?

I am totally 100% in love with everything about Jessica Alba's style. It has such an effortless but put together look to it. This one is particularly easy to re-create. I really like how she mixed plaid and leopard together. I never would've thought to do that but after seeing it, I really do love it! I cant wait to create my own version of this outfit with the clothes from my closet. I'll be sure to post when I do :) Happy Friday! 

Sperry cold

Today was freezing! I opted for my warm flannel and fur vest. I love this vest because it has the perfect amount of fur for a laid back day. The fur on this vets is only on the front and the back has a sweater material. I paired it with jeans for extra warmth. I polished off the outfit with my favorite basic jewelry. These pieces are usually my go to jewelry items because they are so simple yet add that little extra something every outfit needs. I had to do a ton of walking today so Sperry's seemed like the way to go for the added support and comfort that my feet need. Stay warm!
